Within your organisation branch, or any sub-branches you create, you also have the option of using groups to organize your users into logical entities, allowing you to treat all users within a group as a single entity, such as communicating to a group of users, assign them courses, or see reports on them. This is particularly useful for large deployments. For example, you could set up a sub-branch for different geographical regions, and within each sub-branch you could set up groups for different departments, job roles, etc. This will allow you to feed curricula and courses to specific groups of users.
To add a new group, click the Groups icon on the dashboard and click [Add Group].
Once you have completed the fields, click [Add]. Further options will then become available to edit the group.
The options to edit your group will become available after creating the group, or you can edit any group by clicking the icon from the Groups screen.
These options are displayed across tabs to see the group's Users, Courses and Curriculums:
The [Users], [Courses] and [Curriculums] tabs display a list of all Users, Courses and Curriculums currently assigned to the group. You can download the information from these tabs in Excel-compatible CSV format using the icon.
To enroll all the group's users to its courses / curricula, click the [Enroll Members to Courses] button in the Courses / Curriculums tab.
